I don't work with saints all that often but Expedite has been a great ally for me and my clients for sure. He is known as the unofficial patron saint of emergencies, dealers,examinees,schoolboys,sailors, navigators, shopkeepers, and anyone who needs a quick solution for their problem. This great saint has amassed a following from both Catholics and non-Catholics alike for one simple reason, he gets results. Petitioning Saint Expedite is quite simple, you will need:
- A Saint Expedite prayer card or printed out image of the saint.
- A Expedite class encased novena candle or a red candle
- A glass of water
- Fast Luck Oil or Powder (Optional)
For quick help...You recite your prayer until your request is granted. Once Saint Expedites work is done he expects to be "paid" just as fast. One of the main ways that he is thanked for his work is by making public announcements in his honor and letting others know of his great deeds. Hence why this particular post started out the way that it did. He is also offered a slice of pound cake (some say it has to be sara lee cake, but I don't think so), fresh flowers, and a glass of water. I always give him a slice of pound cake, a glass of fresh water, and a red rose as thanks. I use the glass from the candle as the vase for the rose and let the offerings sit on the altar for a week, That's pretty much it in a nutshell. May Saint Expedite be as good to you as he has to me.

Ash, one happy turkey day. two, can u use st expedite for darker purposes? I keep reading different answers, yes & no
@Binky. I am not going to say it is a hard "no", but it is not very likely. There are a couple of reasons for this. If you are talking darker as in crossing, hexing, etc that is very rarely considered an emergency or something that has to happen fast. So he wouldn't consider himself the man for the job. Also, a person dos not get elevated to sainthood by being the kind of person that does dirty deeds for pay, so very few recognized saints are good for this work. Now, Expedite being a soldier, and loosly associated with the planet Mars, could be used to bring swift justice upon someone that has wronged you if it is called for. As you know, the thing about working with or petitioning the saints, is that it is a request and not a command. They can completely ignore you if they so choose.
Now the reason I don't consider this a complete no, is because I am sure that some working with Expedite as a guise for Baron Samedi have petitioned for reasons such as curses and possibly gotten results.

St Expedite I thank you for your tireless help, You always help me whenever I ask of your help, I thank you for interceding for me before the Holy Trinity. I will invoke your name with Love and Honour.
Thank you St Expedite! Last Friday I prayed for your help to have my offer accepted on a house I was hoping to buy. I had been waiting for over two weeks to hear from the vendor and was getting very anxious. I lit Your candle and petitioned your help with a speedy decision on my offer. Within a couple of hours my phone rang, it was the agent telling me that my offer had not been accepted and the vendor was proceeding with another buyer. I felt upset of course, but had a feeling this was a sign from You, St Expedite. Later on the same afternoon another agent rang me, telling me they had just received a new property that I might be interested in. I went to see the house the same evening. And I knew this was the one for me!! I made an offer at that instant, and kept praying over Your candle over the weekend. On Monday I felt restless as I hadn't heard anything back from the vendor. On Tuesday evening, the candle had already burnt 3/4 down, and I kept praying to have my offer finally accepted. That evening, a flame caught the printed image of You that was attached to the candle, and I felt it was a powerful sign. The next day, the agent called and said the vendor was still considering but would give a decision shortly. I lit the candle - what was left of it - and prayed a positive response. Suddenly the flame went out. I tried lighting again, no luck. I tried again, no luck what so ever. Then I felt as if You were saying "my work is done". The phone rang, my offer on the house was accepted - and bang on the budget I have!! Thank you St Expedite, you grant miracles when I was giving up on hope!!
